The Fire Guardian

Saya was sitting alone near the lake watching people passing by. She was sad. He didn´t expected him to end it like this. She helped him a lot all those time and now he just let her go without noticing that she would have stayed if he had just asked her. She knew that the deal was just to play his fiance the last days his father and current mafia boss, was living. But in those two years they developed a real relationship and she knew that his father noticed them getting closer. While thinking about him again tears run down her face.

"are you alright?" a boy asked Saya

She looked up. "Mmmh... yeah." "But you don´t look like it..." He took out a handkerchief and hold it out to her.

He asked sadly "why are you crying?"

"I said I´m ok and I´m not crying." She wiped out her tears. Gently he looked at her:"You don´t need to say anything but you should be honest to yourself. Crying isn´t a weakness."

The boy asked kindly "could you please at least tell me why?"

She looked down: "Nothing special..." She swallowed: "I think I was just hoping for too much..." The guy looked kind of confused.

"like what?"

"Like this stupid guy could see in me his real fiance, not just the one I played!" She stopped and thought "Why am I telling him the story? I don´t even know him..."

His eyes widen as he heard that and thought 'some person use her as a tool? that's downright messed up' and turned around so she won't see him getting mad.

Saya saw him turning his back on her and another tear run down her cheek. She bites her lip and stood up, ready to leave.

turning around and looking at her he said kindly " I'm sorry I did that.I was mad at the person ,whoever he is. That's why i turned around. If you're going to leave, then do it. I'm not stopping you."

She hesitaded looking in his blue eyes. "What´s your name? I mean, now that I told you I would like to know something about you." She looked away because she blushed.

He smiled "I'm Satoshi Satome"

"So, ähm, Satoshi, right? What are you doing here at the lake?", she asekd, with her big green eyes pointed at him.

"I was just taking a walk" he said

"Ah, and you decided to talk to a crying girl...", she laughed, because she noticed that her situation, sitting near the lake and crying, was stupid.

He said "yeah"

"So, you´re talking to every crying girl?"

"maybe"

She was getting angry: "Ok, just go ahead, I can handle it on my own." "What is he thinking who he is..." Tears, again, run down her face.

He realized on what he had said and ran after her 'aw man, i messed up big time'

She turned around and glared at him: "I said I can handle it on my own! Why are you following me?" She shaked.

he sighed ''I followed because i want to apologize on what i have said to offend. But if you don't care on what i have to say, then i'll turn around and leave"

She hesitaded: "You don´t really need to apologize. I´m not angry because of you. I know, that you just wanted to cheer me up, but..." Tears again run down her face: "Not again... I don´t know why I start crying all the time..."
