Auch der Willie... something. That was the last sentence I heard in German, and the only thing I can remember for now...

"Yeah, that was the last thing I told you. Let´s start with easy things:"
What´s your name? - Wie heißt du? I´m ... - Ich heiße.../Ich bin...
"Ok?" | |

Got it. Ok, so " ß " in heißt... isn't that what Russians use too? I've seen it before, if I'm not mistaken...

| Although I can´t speak russian, I don´t think it´s the same. It means "ss". We make a distinction between a short s and a long s. The long s is written "ss" or "ß". Those both are different too. It depends on the content on how you write it. For example:
Wir hatten viel Spaß.
Nach dem Überfall war die Kasse leer.
he´s the only student, so it would be worse if he doesn´t pay attention

| "Not really... You use "ß" to express a long vowel like in "Spaß". And you use "ss" to express a short vowel like in "Kasse"."
smiles
"Sometimes even we native speakers mix it up. It´s not that easy, because you need to know how to pronounce the words correctly."

"I can only say that I know a lot of people from other countries, like russian, chinese, japanese, french and english (GB) people, and they say that it´s very hard because of all the tenses and articels and stuff..."
shakes her head
"And I also know a lot of german people with problems in speaking german correctly, but that´s not the fact here..."

| " I'm used to tenses, since I took Latin for 2 years. So it might not be so hard for me. I can see how it's difficult though. I assume Germans have to learn english as well? Over the years, it'll get harder to understand the country's offical language, when everyone is expected to learn english. Plus, American influence is spreading throughout countries. At least... that's what I think. " | |

| Yeah, we need to learn english, french or russian and latin. Well, in Germany the american influence is not that big, on the contrary...
I saw that you´re also registered in the new forum... I don´t quite get it, how to create a character...

| Well... you can just think of a character you'd like to be. Except you have to mix some things up, and make it your own character. Just think about it and work on it. I'd be glad to hear some ideas and we could do some missions together, if anyone starts doing anythin there. There aren't a lot of people there, so you have some time. You could make yourself kind of like a German mafia woman, or something. That would be hot. xD | |

| Well, that´s what I wanted to do. The principle was clear, but I didn´t know how to put it into practice.. But I think I´ve got it now. | |

| Yeah, I don´t mind writing in two places. If you like to we continue here.
By the way, how do you do your roleplay sample? I´ve got no idea...

| Yeah, I'd like to continue here too. I'm not sure what a roleplay sample is either. I was thinking he wanted to see how you roleplay or something. But I looked it up, and I got:
" It basically means an example of the poster's previous RP posts, sort of like how a resume usually includes examples of an employee's past work. Some RP creators require samples to make certain that members meet a specific quality standard. "
" If you've ever been in a real, paragraph roleplay before, then what they want is for you to copy/paste one of your old posts, and show them it. That way they know how well you can roleplay. "
I'll ask to make sure...

Kasai said, "A roleplay sample is an example of how you roleplay. Whats the general length of each of your posts how descriptive they are ect. Its to give us a measure of your roleplaying ability. "
